"Helped Me Feel Less All Over the Place"
My writing flow feels way less scattered now, which surprised me a bit. I used to jump around from one thought to another and then somehow end up reorganizing the same paragraph five times. Kind of like when you open the fridge for one thing and suddenly start cleaning the shelf for no reason. Anyway, this has made it easier for me to stay on track and actually get my thoughts down without feeling so all over the place...

"Helpful, but I’m not totally sure it clicked for me"
I tried Scrivener for about a week, and I can definitely see why people like it. There are some really useful tools in there, especially if you’re organizing a bigger writing project. That said, the layout felt a little busy to me, and I’m sure I didn’t fully get the syncing figured out. It might just take more time to learn, but for now I’m not completely sure it’s the right fit for me.

"Switching between Mac and Windows was rough"
I’m sure the issue came from moving my projects between Mac and Windows, because things that worked fine before suddenly started breaking. Maybe there’s a way around it, but in my experience they just didn’t seem to play nicely together.

"Finally, my files stay put"
My files finally stay where I put them, which sounds simple but makes such a difference. No more hunting around like wait, where did that go lol. It just works the way I need it to.

"Really helpful for keeping big projects organized"
I’ve been using Scrivener to keep my notes, links, and random draft pieces all in one spot. It took me a little while to get the hang of it, umm, but now my research doesn’t feel scattered everywhere. It’s super handy if you’re working on longer projects...

"I’ve been using Scrivener to keep track of…"
I’ve been using Scrivener to keep track of my novel notes, and it’s been really helpful. I got stuck on a couple things and was kind of lost, but the community forum helped me figure it out quickly. Just really glad I gave it a try.

"Cool idea, but a bit clunky"
I wanted to like the corkboard because the concept is really useful, but it feels slow and awkward to use. I already had a feeling these kinds of card-based boards can get messy fast, and this one kind of confirmed that for me. The cards don’t always move the way I expect, so I end up spending more time fixing things than organizing. It’s not awful, just more frustrating than I hoped.

I’m disappointed. The formatting felt way too stiff and unnatural, and it made the whole experience frustrating. If this doesn’t improve, I’ll probably just leave and use something else

"Good app, but the iOS version makes me work harder than I should"
I use Scrivener on my iPad often, especially when I’m working on longer projects and don’t want to drag my laptop around. It’s genuinely useful having my writing with me, and Dropbox sync has mostly been fine, so I do appreciate that part.
That said, the iOS app can feel kind of clunky. Some of the menus aren’t very intuitive, formatting takes more fiddling than it should, and I’ve had a couple moments where sync made me nervous enough to double-check everything manually, which is just extra work I don’t really want. Still a solid app, but I wish it felt smoother on iPad

"Helpful, but a bit messy"
In my experience, it does help and gets the job done, but it can be a little messy to use. I still find it useful overall, just not the cleanest option.

"Honestly, it just works"
I use Scrivener on both my Mac and my laptop, syncing through Dropbox most days. I’ll admit, I was nervous at first about losing chapters or ending up with weird duplicate files, but so far it’s been surprisingly reliable. It picks up right where I left off, as long as I remember to close the project before switching computers. It’s not exactly exciting to say, but it works, and that’s really all I needed. Writing from different places is a lot less of a hassle now.

"Pretty good, just a bit crashy sometimes"
I actually like the app and use it often, though to be fair I might be pushing it a little too much with too many things open on my phone. It does crash on me sometimes, which gets annoying, but overall it’s still a good app.

"Easy setup and worked right away"
I had a smooth experience getting the license set up. Activation worked on the first try, which was a relief. I did spend a minute digging around for the right email info, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, I’m happy with it and would say it was a straightforward process...

"I like the app overall and it works…"
I like the app overall and it works well, but the updates take way too long. I’ve mentioned it before and it kind of feels like nobody actually read the message. Hoping they start moving a bit faster with improvements

"Helpful, just a little slow"
They did help me out, which I appreciated. The replies took a bit longer than I expected... kind of had to wait around. But once they got back to me, it was useful and they were nice about it.

"Great solo, weirdly bad for teamwork"
I like Scrivener a lot when I’m writing by myself, but trying to use it with another person made me feel like we’d uncovered some secret anti-collaboration agenda. There’s no real live collaboration, the syncing feels clunky, and we were constantly paranoid that one of us was going to overwrite the other’s work like the files were quietly plotting against us. For what it costs, I expected that whole side of things to be way smoother.

"The import feature really needs fixing"
I tried using the import option, it was frustrating. It didn’t work as smoothly as I expected, and I found myself wasting more time than I should have just trying to get things through. This is one of those features that really needs to be cleaned up because I don’t have the patience to fight with imports every time.

"The pages took forever to load, and it…"
The pages took forever to load, and it ruined what I had planned. I set aside time to get through everything, but I spent most of it just waiting around. By the time it finally worked, I was already frustrated and behind schedule. Definitely not worth the wait

"Easy to Find What I Needed"
I had a smooth time using Literature & Latte. The site loaded without any fuss, and I didn’t have to click around forever to find the download info or help pages. It’s simple and straightforward, which is really all you want from a website like this. When things are laid out clearly and just work, it makes the whole process a lot less annoying.

"Powerful, but Takes Some Patience"
The compile and export options are definitely useful, even if I had to admit it took me a bit to figure them out. I do like being able to export to different formats, and once everything is set up, it works well. Still, making layout changes or fixing tiny formatting things feels like more clicking around than it should. It’s not bad, and I can live with it, but I was hoping it would be a little more straightforward.
